That's the extent of my "public service announcement." This is the Sunday we turn our clocks forward one hour around here. No ulterior motive here. I'm not speaking/singing/telling anywhere this week. Not asking you to come cheer or sing along.
Although, I DO hope you smile, where ever you are.
I continue to agree with this:
When told the reason for daylight saving time the old Indian said…
‘Only a white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket.’
"Walk With Me"
Have you seen this picture book, yet? We read it on Tuesday at Subterranean Books. The graphics are gorgeous. We stopped on each page to discuss what we found, and what could be happening. The children simply enjoy the way we play together.
This picture book moved me deeply. There is so much more going on in this story. It reminds me of "Footsteps" by Mary Stevenson.
I found love and comfort. i hope you take time to visit a book store and give it a look.
Walk With Me - by Jairo Buitrago and Raphael Yockteng
There's a new board book series at Catholic Suppy
There is even one for a new baby in the family.
On Wednesdays, books and cookies come out of the story lady pack
Lately we've enjoyed the new books on the shelves.
Perhaps I've outstayed my welcome today.
Thank you for visiting.
